About Serfent Rolle

Serfent E. J. Rolle is an attorney, community leader, and lifelong supporter of the Free National Movement whose career reflects a deep commitment to service and public life. Born in New Providence to Angela Pratt-Rolle and the late Edward J. Rolle, he grew up in a home where family and community were inseparable. From an early age, he was actively engaged in afterschool clubs, cultural initiatives, and community projects that sparked his enduring interest in history, culture, and public service.
A graduate of Queen’s College, Mr. Rolle distinguished himself in leadership, debate, and community service, serving as Head Boy in 1999. He went on to earn a dual bachelor’s degree in history and criminal justice from Caldwell University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sheffield, and completed Bar School at BPP Leeds. He was called to the Bars of England and Wales and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in 2009. In 2014, he established his own law firm, Serfent Rolle & Co.
Mr. Rolle’s service extends beyond the courtroom. He has chaired the National Insurance Board Appeals Tribunal and served as Deputy Chairman of the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA). Within the FNM, his involvement began as a seventh-grade member of the Torchbearers Youth Association. He has since served as website contributor, speechwriter, campaign manager, Assistant Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General, and ultimately Secretary General of the Party.
His dedication to service is rooted in family values shaped by his grandparents. Summers spent in Andros with his paternal grandparents instilled in him a passion for politics and compassion for people, reinforced by his maternal grandparents, who modeled civil service and caregiving.
Today, Mr. Rolle is an active member of Lively Stone Church of God within the Highway Church of God Bahamas Fellowship. He enjoys documentaries, foreign languages, traveling, and volunteer work. He remains committed to carrying forward the legacy of service, leadership, and community that has defined his life.
